How we choose what to feature

We feature products and categories on merit: how well they do the job, what sources say about them and whether they are available to buy. Commission never decides whether something is recommended. When the same item is sold by several partners, we may choose which partner to link.

How we research

Each page starts from the questions people actually ask. We check facts against manufacturer documentation, standards bodies, government guidance and reputable publications, and list those sources at the end of the page. We only describe testing when it actually happened; unless a page says so, we have not tested the products it mentions.

Tools we use

We use research and writing tools, including AI, to gather information and draft pages. Pages are checked against our sources before publishing and updated when information changes.

Live listings and prices

Listings shown on our pages come from our partners and are refreshed regularly. Sold or ended items are removed automatically. Prices and availability can change at any time, so always check the final price, condition and return terms on the seller's page before you buy.

If you spot a mistake, tell us through our contact form. We review every report and update the page when we get something wrong.
